Your new role
Reporting to the Audit and Risk Manager, you will join a great Audit and Risk team. You will assist in the preparation and delivery of the internal audit plan.
In detail you will

Perform periodic auditing activities providing ongoing assurance to the effectiveness of key controls and key business processes

Deliver audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders within agreed budgets and timeframes and follow up on management actions

Provide timely insight into risks and other issues that may be impacting the business

Contribute to the design and development of business improvement projects

Support the delivery of the risk management framework and the Internal Audit quality assurance and improvement program

Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and proactively build a strong understanding of business needs to improve the internal audit and risk management services

What you'll need to succeed

Self-motivation and an ability to work autonomously with integrity and objectivity

Strong verbal and written communication skills

CPA or CA qualification or working towards or willingness to study to attain

Demonstrated experience in a similar role or with a strong accounting background

Sound understanding of control systems and the ability to prepare sound internal audit documentation

Some experience with internal control programs preferred
