Lead Security Manager - Risk Mitigation - 648
We are seeking a Lead Security Manager - Risk Mitigation for our Broomfield, CO or Brooklyn Park, MN location.
The Lead Security Manager-Risk Mitigation is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global risk mitigation strategy involving numerous programs that are in their infancy or yet to be developed. These programs will support the strategy that aligns with the organization's overall security objectives and strategy. This role oversees all aspects risk mitigation related to areas such as key employee and executive management assessments and protection measures; global travel risk management; social media and brand monitoring; and emerging technology around the security landscape. The Security Manager will collaborate closely with cybersecurity and other security teams to integrate physical and cyber risk assessments as well as counterintelligence and insider risk programs, ensuring a unified approach to protecting personnel, assets, and information to strengthen organizational resilience against emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities include:
Key Employee and Executive Management Risk Mitigation
- Conduct comprehensive physical and cyber risk assessments for executives and key personnel.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies, including security protocols and contingency plans.
- Deliver tailored security training programs for executives and high-risk personnel
Event Assessments & Monitoring
- Evaluate security risks for corporate events, conferences, and high-profile gatherings.
- Implement real-time monitoring and response measures during events.
Social Media & Brand Monitoring
- Monitor social media for threats targeting key personnel and company reputation.
- Conduct ongoing surveillance of brand mentions and potential security concerns.
Emerging Technology & Security Advancement
- Assess effectiveness of current security technologies and identify areas for improvement.
- Research and recommend innovative solutions to enhance security capabilities.
Travel Risk Management
- Travel Support, Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor global travel activity and provide real-time alerts on emerging threats. Maintain a centralized reporting system for travel-related incidents and risks.
- Travel Guidance & Training: Develop and deliver global travel security training for all employees. Provide pre-travel briefings on geopolitical, health, and cyber risks.
- Executive Travel Support: Plan and oversee security for executive travel, including route analysis, secure transportation, and venue assessments. Coordinate with internal and external resources for executive protection during travel.
Global Security Assessments
- Developing company and employee threat profiles
- Physical site assessments
You Must have:
- High School/GED minimum
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in security operations and executive and physical assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
We Value:
- Bachelor's degree: preferably in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Strong knowledge of existing security protocols and technologies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CPP, or similar credentials are highly desirable.
