ACWA JPIA is an award-winning risk pool serving California’s public water agencies. We are proud of our supportive, collaborative workplace and are excited to welcome a new Risk and Safety Technician to our Risk Management team in Roseville, CA.
This role is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and service-minded professional with an interest in public sector safety and risk management. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing technical, analytical, and administrative responsibilities and can work independently while collaborating closely with team members and member agencies.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the operation of the ACWA JPIA Risk Management Program and department initiatives
- Conduct virtual and occasional on-site general risk assessments and assist with safety and loss prevention efforts
- Develop risk management recommendations and prepare clear, accurate reports
- Collect, analyze, and manage data to support department projects and quantitative reporting
- Assist with safety training efforts, department resources, and recordkeeping
- Serve as a liaison between departments and maintain effective working relationships with members and staff

This position is located in Roseville, CA, and is full time, 40 hours per week, with hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Flexible work hours might be available.
